Instructions for use of search engine |
1. For best results search for city or borough. |
| 2. If searching for country for example "Israel" you may enter only partial text for instance "isr". |
| Note. United States only goes by city or state. |
| 3. If searching for state for example "New York" your best bet would be using abbreviations in this format "n.y". |
| Note. If the name of the state is only one word for example "California" then the abbreviation would be "ca". |
| 4. If searching for city or borough for example "Brooklyn" you may enter only partial text for instance "broo". |
| 5. If interested in viewing all links do not type anything just click on "search" button. |
Instructions on how to best view the almanacs |
| 1. For Internet explorer: Once the almanac is loaded click "view" on menu bar roll down to "text size" and click |
| then choose either "smaller" or "smallest" depending on your screen resolution. |
| 2. In order to view the entire luach on your screen your screen resolution should be "1024 by 768" or greater. |
| To change your screen resolution, right click on you desktop and choose "properties" from the popup menu. |
| You will then see a window dialog whith a number of tabs choose the "settings" tab, there you will have an |
| option of changing your screen resolution. Make sure you change it to "1024 by 768" or greater. |
Instructions on how to print the almanacs |
| 1. First follow all the instuctions for viewing. Make sure that "text size" is "smallest" and that your |
| screen resolution is "1024 by 768" or greater. |
| 2. While viewing the almanac (luach) choose "File" from the menu bar then choose "Print". You will then get |
| a window dialog click on properties and set your printer properties to print in "landscape". |
